We encourage all locals who hire us as their custom processors to observe our work for free. We also offer individual or small-group private tutorials where we put the knife in your hands and walk you through every step of the harvesting process.
The crowning glory of our services often comes in the form of public slaughter, butchery and charcuterie classes using our farmers’ livestock. This is the best way for farmers to significantly reduce the cost of livestock processing while extending educational opportunities to their communities.
If you are in the Puget Sound, send us an email with your harvesting and education needs. Go to our Classes Page for basic pricing for these practicum options.
If you are across the country, please consider traveling to one of our 3-day harvest events. Most of our students travel from out of state and even out of country. We’d love to hear about your local agricultural experience and help you bring ours to your location.
